I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD OR DC 4x4 with 20,500 miles. I was away for 2 years and the truck was driven no more than 1,000 miles a year. Truck has not been in any accidents.

Front passenger door is driving me insane, squeaks when ever I'm driving and doesn't stop until the truck is parked. I've searched around and have come across several threads saying it's the door seals. I don't think it's that because it still makes that noise as I swing the door open. I can replicate the sound by shaking the door while it's open.

Unfortunately the factory warranty expired two months before I returned. My parents weren't driving it enough to notice, they'd usually turn it on once a week and drive it into town for errands.

When I'm out and about it seems like I'm driving an old run down pickup truck instead of a 4 year old Tacoma.

    Anyone experience this before?

DC or AC? My AC rear door squeaked because the interior panel wasn't properly installed at the factory. One of the clips wasn't in the hole.

If it is the door seals, try cleaning and treating them with a protectant like 303?

Double cab. Wasn't doing this the first 2 years I drove it around.
Thanks for the vid. I have some work to do on it and plan to knock this off as well all at once(if I can).

Are you sure it isn't the passenger side body mount? It's right underneath that area and the sound might be traveling.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Try some silicone spray lube on the seals.

I open the door all the way. If i shake it, I can still hear the squeaking, I don't think it's the seals.

Wouldn't it be waaaay too early for a body mount to go bad? I'll definitely check this out tomorrow though

    **UPDATE**

Just in case anyone ever has the same issue.

The issue ended up being a loose passenger side mirror. While I was having the issue with the squeaky door, I started noticing the passenger side mirror would be loose/unstable while driving. After further inspection, I grabbed the passenger side mirror, shook it and was able to replicate the sound. I had driven it around like this for 2 and a half months and the sound was unbearable. Sounded like nails on a chalkboard and would amplify when I hit a bump.

Had to take off the door panel unfortunately because two out of the three screws are under the panel. Tightened those up and all is good now! Don't know how they became loose, I had never replaced or even bumped that mirror into anything.

Good to know. Thanks for posting a follow-up on your solution - many folks don't take the time.
