I have a Fox Level 2 kit (this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fox-level-2-kit-with-or-without-ome-dakar-pack.480258/page-3) and have since added armor, winch bumper with winch, lots of stuff. With the Fox coilover cranked way down, I'm only at factory height. I can crank the springs further down, but I've already tightened them 9 threads over the factory setting and don't feel as though adding more tightness on the spring is a good solution.

Would I be able to update the spring, replacing it with a OME 2886 spring, or will that not fit on the 2.5" body of the Fox level 2 kit? If not the OME 2886, what spring should I go with? I heard that Eibach makes the springs, so these?

I also would like a bit more articulation, so I plan on adding JBA UCAs while I've got the truck apart. Any concerns there, or reasons I would be better choosing a Camburg, SPC, or another UCA?

    Thanks for the help!

You just need a 700# spring of the same length, no OME go win eibach this f you want to keep the fox look.

Thanks. After shipping, these ended up being cheapest from Summit Racing, at $201 shipped. The specific springs are EIB-14003000700S.

I also went ahead and ordered JBA UCAs too, I got the standard high caster. They look like they never go on sale, so it made sense to do them when I do the springs.

After running these springs a year and a half, how are they holding up? I have a 20 Pro with the stock Fox coilovers and plan to add armor, so I'm thinking of swapping the coilover spring with a 700# spring to counteract any sag. Did it change the ride quality for you on or off road? Any change to the ride height i.e. did it get rid of any sag from the additional weight you added?

Yes - they got rid of the nose dive when braking and restored some ride height. It was a worthwhile upgrade for my extremely heavy Taco, and I'd do it again. Make sure you have full skids AND a bumper with winch before even considering it, or the ride will be jarring.

I did have to dial in the preload to get the height I wanted perfectly. It was no big deal with aftermarket Fox coils though. You'd be stuck with whatever height they're at with stock Pro coils.

The JBA UCAs have been great too. I highly recommend them.

The only thing I'd change about my current setup is my rear end. I have dakar leafs with sumosprings. The sumosprings are very harsh over speed bumps and make me lose a bit of flex, but are a necessary evil with how often I tow. With air bags instead of sumosprings, I'd have even better performance towing with more flex offroad. Funny enough, I used to love the sumosprings until about 6 months ago - they were fine for light offroading and felt like they didn't limit flex then, but after some really rough trails it was apparently obvious they were having a larger effect on my flexing than I thought, leading to a lot of bouncing side to side.
