Hey guys, just picked up my truck last night. I have decided on the rims and tube steps that I want and know where to get them. The last thing (and it's minor) is that I want some sport pedals but I can't find any anywhere. Anyone have some suggestions? Thanks!

    I like these....

do a search for toyota parts or toyota wheels. i found some on some of those sites while doing a search. however due to the recent gas pedal issues some of the sites no longer sell em :(

I don't know if the ones on JC Whitney will work with a '98. I tried buying the same ones from Pep Boys. Though it says "universal fit", the gas pedal wouldn't work with my 2010. Just an FYI.

I bought the same ones from Auto Zone for my 06 and was not able to use them. The fit was poor and could not get them to stop shifting. Save your money !

I have those same ones only the manual tranny set of 3. They are OBX brand. They are a bitch to get on but have not moved or shifted a bit. +2 on the pedal trim warning posted above, my gas pedal is unmolested. These are the exact set I have....

They've got to be available in auto tranny config too. Didn't see any for Tacoma on ebay tho. Might try going thru an OBX site. Here's what the same set for auto looks like but damned if I could find any place that had them in stock.

I think you are right. I talked to a guy at the dealership I bought from and there is a "stop sale" on all of the sport pedals because they don't fit the new pedal. Guess this mod will have to wait...

I made those from the uncut pedal in my 05 fit the cut pedal in the 08 with a strategically placed drywall screw. Has been in place since 2011. I also scored an uncut gas pedal from a FS thread afterward. Dunno what it all means other than you can adapt those OBX pedal covers to a "revised" gas pedal with just a small adjustment and I have an uncut pedal to put back in the truck if the need ever arises.
