Any horror stories on these spacers spidertax 1.25 inches before I buy them? I have a 2018 Offroad stock everything. I like to do a 2/1 lift and the largest tires I can put on my stock rims and the spacers. There will be no off-roading only in an emergency. Thanks

Only if you don't do the install correctly.

I ran them on my 2007 JK for many years (light OffRoading) until I could afford new wheels.

Spidertrax is a good brand, so no issue there. You'll get plenty of arguments on both sides, so the call is yours. I've run spacers on my own vehicles in the past (haven't gotten a set for my Tacoma yet) and installed a countless number of them on customer vehicles when I had my shop. Never had a failure. Not to say it can't happen, but it usually has something to do with install when it does happen.

If they are installed correctly you won’t have a problem...a lot of misinformation regarding spacers on this site.

I’m running them on my 07 dcsb with a 3” lift and 33s. No problem at all. Just make sure to torque them down properly. I wouldn’t go with any other brand than spidertrax or bora

Had Spidertrax on my old TJ for about 11 years. I beat that thing to shit. Proper installation is key. I retorqued right at 100 or so miles after installation, & then again at every tire rotation. I have Bora on my Tacoma. Both are excellent.

I have Spidertrax 1.25 hubcentric and put already maybe 15,000 miles no issues.

Make sure to use provided loctite and anti-seize on the hub of the vehicle to prevent them from basically welding together. More importantly cross tighten them down to spec. Plenty of videos on YouTube that show great detail and steps.

The only part of the installation instructions that most Tec's agree NOT to follow because of the use of Loctite. If the bolt moves during the check, you have compromised the Loctite.

I think most of the misinformation is from the horror stories of “true spacers” the ones that are just pushing the wheel out using the original lugs which means you’ll have less threads to tighten.

that was my take on it when I did more research outside TW

    i Have stock wheels/tires/lift and 1.25 spidertrax
