I just installed them. I ordered some h7 hid bulbs to go with my Morimoto ballasts.

Looks great! What was the wiring like to get the outer DRLs working?

These are different from the ones on that thread. I had those also, they are about the same quality but these have a nicer design.

the light bar is a lot brighter and looks more like the 3rd gen aftermarket lights.

    What harness/kit did they recommend?

I got the H7A bulbs at 5500k, 35w ballasts, H4 Harness and igniters. I'm currently having an issue where they aren't firing every time I turn them on, so I'm curious to see how yours turn out.

It's plug and play, but they only come on when you rotate to the second notch, not the DRL notch.

I'm currently using the spec d tuning projector lamps with h1 mini led bulbs. Output is superb
    I opted the hid kits

I like the appearance, but I don't like that the 'LED DRL bar', does not come on while on DRL notch. The bar only comes on with the side-markers and tails (second notch up). I've put in an H7A Morimoto kit, but I'm having inconsistent firing issues, which I suspect is the H4 harness or a dual ballast problem.

Other than that, the stock light strength was weak, and with the HID kit the light throw area is very wide.

Got mine from K2motor fwiw, around the same ~$250 price point

I am using the Canbus adapters. I know they are not needed for our trucks but it’s better than running a relay kit and I don’t have any issues with them not firing.

I have the Morimoto xb ballasts with the h7 bulb and harness.

This is correct I should have been more clear when I posted above.

Any chance you have a link to the Canbus you use? At my wits end with troubleshooting the root cause of the no-fires

I got mine last week and installed on saturday. The led bar seems extremely weak during daytime. Do anyone else’s look a bit purple during the day? They look nice in the dark though.CFA41C47-D27D-4689-93B3-BCA29544D5B7.jpgD94CF45D-33C1-4ADD-BBB8-99C3DFE3EF66.jpg

Thanks and sounds good. I got the glossy black ones. Got them off eBay. Currently in contact with the seller in regards to the purple look of the LED bars
