    Hello,

Can anyone help me with speakers? I have a 2017 Tacoma and would like to upgrade to new speakers. I would like to replace with pioneer but have no clue on speaker sizing for the truck. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

    1. What head unit do you have? JBL or premium non&-JBL?
    2. Are you looking to add a sub, or just want to replace speakers?
    3. What is your budget?

Take a look at this thread:

If you have the JBL sound system, just replacing the speakers won't help, in fact it will make your system sound worse.
A lot of people have good luck with just upgrading the front tweeters in non-JBL systems, see the threads linked above.

Rear speakers are 6.5 inch, and front speakers are 6x9.

I doubt she knows what that means if she is asking about speaker sizes on a Tacoma forum.

If you are starting out, check out Crutchfield to see what's compatible.

Go with Crutchfield, their online system builder is great and so is their customer support. You can run the factory size 6x9 in the front or a 6 1/2" with adapter that they will provide for you at no cost.

Look at a Component set that comes with a separate tweeter and crossover for the best improvement in sound.

Another vote for Crutchfield, helpful website and phone support if you need it.
