I'm running Bilstein 6112 at 5/6 setting. I also have the SSO tube bumper, winch, 30" BD lightbar, and an arb twin compressor under the hood. I have no suspension sag, but it does feel a little more plush over bumps.

Alright I have a long overdue post on this...

Finally got the bumper painted and installed this weekend (why didn't I just order it powder coated smh) and got the Diode dynamics 30" stage series lightbar mounted up. It's not perfect, but it could be if you drill another hole on the mounting tabs a little further back. I was lazy and happy enough with it for now.

The width fits perfectly, I just had to hammer the tabs with a rubber mallet a tiny bit. It is quite a bit smaller than the cutout I ordered, I went with the rigid cutout because the measurements looked similar between the two bars. So there is some space around the top and bottom of the DD bar. Since I didn't want to mess with drilling holes at that point I threw it in there and called it a day. It is not completely flush with the bumper but acceptable for me, for now anyway. Maybe I'll run the rigid bar someday if it bothers me enough.

You can see on the tab in the bottom pic that there is room to drill another hole. You could move it back a bit if you slide it back on the tab but then it isn't centered.

side note - I followed the sso measurements to a T for the side cuts on the fender/side bumper cover area and it's not enough clearance although it looks really good that way... but I had to go back and trim it a bit more. It would've rubbed like crazy offroad

Looks good! About how much does the lightbar sit out?

Edit. I can't read and saw you got the Rigid cut out.

They went with the Rigid cutout, I've been going back and forth between that and the Baja as to which would fit better.

Lol I caught that and edited my original post. Yeah, same here. Although I think Rigid & BD would fit much better than DD since it seems they're specifically made for Rigid and BD atm.

The BD cutout would def fit the DD better from what I've seen other people post... I just didn't like the look of the BD cutout rounded scalloped edges and not having the matching lightbar for that. But it doesn't look that bad either, just personal preference. Although I'd prefer to have the DD light sitting more flush. Can't have it all I guess :boom:

It probably sits out maybe a quarter to half an inch, prob closer to half inch
Not great, but I don't think I'll even notice it after awhile. Honestly I probably should've just ordered no cutout and threw this up on a prinsu rack I have (and haven't installed yet) because I don't think there was any way to keep it behind the grille in the stealth mount position with the winch. I bet if you didn't have a winch it would fit in the stealth location

edit -- now after looking at the pic of the mounting tabs, I think eventually I might cut a little scrap of steel to make a mini bracket to mount to the tab and drill a hole in the the piece to offset the light back a bit. I think that would work, and I can just get my hands in behind the bumper to access the tabs. But I was over installing it at that point and just wanted to be done lol

Your liners look good... did you just heat gun them, or trim and heat gun? I just installed the bumper and am driving my old 4runner til I can figure out what to do with the liners lol. Did you cut the box like part off and heat mold the rest forward?

Appreciate you giving it a try with the DD light bar tho  I'm keen on getting a DD lightbar as well, now I know there's some work for it to fit flush :D

Kind of a "run what ya brung" type thing for me, didn't wanna spend a bunch more cash on a different light bar. I do think it's possible to make it look good, I'll update again if I care enough to mess with it more. Honestly SSO should just make an option for DD it would be much easier!

not that person but I cut the lower box part out and with about 3 minutes of heat on the inner part that doesn’t bend well, it all flattened out and looks really good. This guy probably spent 5 minute per side and it looks a lot better than mine. But the bumper has cuts that you can fish zip ties through, and I put two of those on each side to hold it up.

Welp, Tubeline bumper and DD 30" lightbar ordered. Went with the BD cutout so we'll see how that looks.

I quickly spent a little time with the heat gun trying to flatten it out so I could take it on a trip over memorial day, it was hasty and doesn't look great. I need to go back and cut the box part out I just smashed it all up into the bumper as much as I could for now. Do you have any pics of yours? I didn't even need to zip tie anything yet because I just shoved it all in there and it didn't really move lol. Needs to be cleaned up tho for sure

    Ordered mine today :bananadance:

when you guys cut are you leaving a little gap so the fender and bumper aren’t resting on the bumper or is it touching? Just don’t want it to rub the power coating off over time.

Sorry guys I’m an idiot and forgot to actually take the pictures someone asked for. Here’s a few.

it was a wet day out and remember I was the lazy one that only spent like 2 minutes running heat on them. If you spent a couple more minutes you could flatten out those inner pieces. I also cut the bottom flat piece out of the liner, you will know what I mean when you finish cutting the bumper.
