Hoping ya'll can help. I have 1 AC vent in the kitchen wall. However, that's where the fridge goes. So the fridge is in front of this vent. Short of going under the house and placing a vent in a new location, does something exist that you can attach to the duct, is slim and hugs the wall, is about 2ft long so the air exits somewhere besides the back of the fridge? I'm thinking of something along the lines of a snorkel, but slim, rectangular and made for an ac system.

I looked at that. And that may work with modification. It would be nice if it was meant to attach to a 10x6 air duct.

    Would this work?

Looks like its for a floor so youd have to secure it to the ceiling somehow...

I have 1 like that but goes under my bathroom vanity.. but I just accept that it isn't as efficient as the other vents

When it's 100 degrees outside and you like to cook, the house/kitchen heats up real quick. :D

I may just get that dryer duct and modify it to work.

Moving the vent will be the best option, the back of a fridge is pretty warm.

I'd definitely have the house at least 5 degrees warmer if it wasn't for her. Right now it's a meat locker! But I still want AC.

I agree with this. You're not going to get good airflow without doing it right and moving that vent to a better spot.
