I'll have to include that in my research / Youtube searches. Never had to mess with any of that stuff before, so that will be new to me.

That was my problem too. The guys at the shop had to get a forklift and push the bed down far enough to bolt the shocks up. They are regular length 5100's. I have a set of extended length B110's on order coming in Tuesday.

Only if you're okay with hearing I'm still learning for the next year. While you run hydro lines and he's on his phone learning. :rimshot:

I've got about 200 pounds of river rock in the bed along with the old leafs and all my camping gear now, and the RTT on top to get it drive-able. Otherwise it just bounces all over the place. Funny AF. All that and I think the rear only dropped maybe an inch. Those leafs are super stout.

Sketch.. Hope they didn't crack the fiber poly whatever the bed is made of.
So what you're saying is these aren't an OE replacement pack, like the Dakars and other brands.

Yeah, there is a small bite taken out of the tailgate where the forks were resting. Not stressing it, though.

FWIW I have the Billy 5125 shocks out back. as recommended by AllPoo when I had the Expo pack.

Designed for modified or specialty vehicles, BILSTEIN B8 5125 shock absorbers combine superior suspension technology with custom lengths and valvings. BILSTEIN B8 5125 is based on BILSTEIN B8 5100 technology. Bilstein 5125 Series Shock Absorbers are designed to be used on custom vehicles in order to achieve the desired ride. The high gas pressure monotube shocks are sold by lengths and damping rates rather than by application.

Here's a shock pair that provides extra travel and is great for those 2"-3.5" rear lifts. The shocks feature a 46mm digressive piston with self-adjusting deflective disc valving. They are silver zinc coated. These particular shocks mount canister up.

These measure 15.01" collapsed x 24.38" extended and include stem cushions and washers. These are longer than your factory shocks so you need to give some thought to accommodating that with longer rear brake lines and checking other parts related to your rear axle to ensure they can handle the extra droop and collapsed length these provide.

    B110 Specs....

    B110 - Rear 3-4" Lift Bilstein 5100 Shocks

Rear Bilstein 5100 series shock for improved flex off road

    • Designed to work with 3" to 4" rear lift
    • Great ride on/off road
    • Fits 05 & UP Tacoma
    • Sold as a pair - Includes (2) F4-BE5-B110-T5 Shocks
    • Extended length 27.28"/Collapsed 16.34"
