does anyone know a good online source for warn replacement parts? someone recently broke into my truck, and in addition to everything else they took, the jerk decided to steal the wireless remote controller for my warn vr evo 10s. could anyone point me in the right direction for where to purchase a replacement? i know the part number (#104218) but it seems to be out of stock LITERALLY everywhere i’ve looked online.

unfortunetly, i need it as quickly as possible because i didn’t realize it had been stolen until i went to use it and pulled out a bunch of the line and now, without the controller, i can’t reel the line back in so ive just had to bundle it up and zip tie to the side of my bumper, obviously a short term solution that i would like to remedy very soon.

Use jumper cables from the battery to the winch to spool the line back in. I.E. hot wire the winch.

Wow that sucks! There’s no permanent switch anywhere, it really relies solely on a remote that can easily be lost or damaged? What an oversight

sorry I’m no help, but that shocks me

This. There are video’s on YouTube. Look for something about trouble shooting a winch motor vs control box.

Also a aftermarket wireless is cheap and easy to install.

I assume it’s like my winch. In wired mode: the wireless control unit/trigger also can plug into the wire that connects to the winch control box.

Could get the standard warn wired remote or If all else fails warn has a Bluetooth control that works with an app on your phone. I have one and have been impressed with it. Control is instant no delays, and for me it has about a 75ft range. WARN 103945 Wireless HUB Receiver and Phone App - for Truck Winches (Zeon, VR, VR EVO)

Have you gone into the reginal forums or local FB offroad groups to see if someone close to you could loan you a remote for a few minutes just so you can reel your line in?
