So I applied the silver Noico brand deadener to my doors and back wall of my dcsb but am now going to finish it out with either the green foam from Noico or the Soundskin pro stuff. has anyone used either of these in here? And mainly if I use the Noico again do I still need some MLV over everything too? I was looking around and what makes the Soundskin appealing is that it comes with both the CCF and MLV as one piece. Just do not want to double my work if not needed.

You can't, as of Feb 1, 2019 the dude retired. Site is up for 1 year as an info source but you can't order product.

I've used https://www.b-quiet.com/ on two Tacoma's that I own/owned and have zero issues with quality. On my current Tacoma I used NOICO dampener and the B-Quiet V-comp and so far so good.

Unless you are building some competitive audio vehicle, I highly doubt if you are going to find much of a difference between the different major brands.

I used both NOICO’s and have been satisfied. I agree with @Tunnagavik, I highly doubt there is a noticeable difference for the laymen (like me). A friend and I did it in a day. We weren’t very scientific about it - just covered the outer skin as best we could. Cut up our fingers around the nails something fierce.

Anecdotally, I’ve been traveling around the West Coast with my two dogs. I have been continually impressed with the internal temperature after I leave the rear windows rolled half way down on a sunny day. I generally have my front window sunshade thingy in place. I now feel completely at ease leaving them in the back seat for half a hour with the windows rolled halfway down thanks to the NOICO insulation.

A damper like Noico, etc is only part of a typical full treatment. It helps tame structural resonance, but that's about it. MLV is used as a barrier layer to keep noise from intruding from outside. Foams are also used to decouple, insulate, and fill. You can also use absorbers, which are especially useful in doors, to 'trap' some frequencies. Most folks just use a cheap foil-backed damper and call it a day. And it helps. However the difference between a full treatment and damper only is night and day. It's a lot of work too, but if you're going to bother ripping the interior apart, might as well get 'er done.
