Amazing episode for sure! Am I the only one that was thinking "WTF???" when they played that music during the scene when Jax stole the car? Who the HELL chose that music??

This. Actually one of my fave episodes ever in the series.

So much to take in. Watching this show non-stop since it started, the night each episode originally aired, then buying the DVD set when it came out and watching it again, everything finally spilling out and coming to a conclusion, is insane in the brain!!!

    Shit almost felt personal....LOL:eek:

And the chase scene sped up ala Road Warrior style:mad: DAFUQ?!?!?!

If they would of left it with no music and regular speed it would of felt way more convincing and realistic. Very random odd fuckup. Actually to me it messed up the flow of the drama that was unfolding. Stupid ass idea!!

I actually paused the show thinking my Mexican neighbors started a party!!!!! My girlfriend looked at me and said NOPE, That shit is in the show!!!!!

Who knew Jax had skills behind the wheel of a car?

And I think my favorite line of that episode was Juice:

"All I am in here is someone's asshole."

Had me rolling for some reason.

I believe the music in that scene was a "tip of the hat" to an old chase scene from a movie or tv show, it seemed very familiar to me. Not quiet dukes of hazard but not quiet Smokey and the Bandit, maybe cannon ball run?

I think this episode has set the end of the show up very well...

I think I have to agree, that maybe one of my favorite episodes. I think we will be saying that again after next week.

As for the chase scene, maybe a little comic relief in the middle of all the shit they were throwing at us, a chance to catch our breaths. It looked like they took it right out of Bullitt...The music was reminiscent, twisty streets, little bit of hills, Fords chasing a big Mopar, etc...

Jazz is chaos within order and improvisation within boundaries, which is what this final season of SOA is. Although a lot of seemingly random things happened earlier in the season, it is all coming together! Play it again sam.

I think Gemma's worst betrayal to Tara and Jax was when she gave Abel that ring.

Not sure what will happen to Juice, but he seems to have accepted it all. He finally see where is he and what he has done. He is ready to either rot in jail or as he most likely believes, die in jail for his sins. Not the scared to be alone Juice we saw a few episodes back.

Some great lines from the episode:

"We need to patch in another Jew"

"I'm sorry that the family I was given, has created so much chaos in the family I've chosen"

“Gemma knows the truth. About everything. Gemma knows every truth behind every lie inside every secret. She's the gatekeeper"

"I'm a rat, what makes you think I wouldn't be a liar too?"

I was thinking Starsky and Hutch. I liked when Juice told Lin "I'm a rat, what makes you think I'm not a liar?"

The car chase scene bothered me too...def fucked up the flow and the music was weird

    You'll also notice that
    a) A crown vic was keeping up with a challenger in a straight line...just...no...
    b) At one point video editing makes him appear to be accelerating with his brake lights illuminated

Is it just a show, sure...but shit like that bothers me

I think there is more there. I deleted it already though. But you notice his vice is holding a playing card. Cant see which it is. Might be the queen of spades? There is also a cd on the table. Looks like Cash?

Also on the chess board, the timer is tipped on its side. Time is over?

Here is a large pic if anyone want to look closer. http://i.imgur.com/V5jW7jC.jpg

The card is facing Jax, not the camera, so no way to know what it is. Otherwise just cards and CDs on the table.

Actually if you take a closer look the black king is NOT in check by the white bishop. The white bishop you are looking at is on the line between white and black. Now look for the OTHER bishop for white. IT is on a black square, so the bishop on the line is actually a WHITE square bishop. The black king is NOT in check.
