**SOLD** The wife and I have decided to purchase a travel trailer, so we are selling our Cascadia Vehicle Tents (CVT) roof top tent. This is the Hybrid model, in the Mt. Rainier size, with the extended fly to cover the entrance/ladder area. It sleeps three very comfortably, and could definitely do 4 if two of them are relatively small (or children). I picked up this tent at the CVT showroom in Las Vegas in August of 2021, and it is still practically brand new. It has only been used on one trip, where it was slept in for 3 nights. Other than that trip and the drive home from Vegas, it has just been stored overhead inside my garage, out of the way and protected from the elements.

The Hybrid line of tents is not currently showing up on CVT's website (they have been out of stock for some time), so I'll list some of the features. It is kind similar to the Pioneer series in the sense that it is a traditional soft folding design that opens to either the driver side or passenger side (depending on how you mount it). However, it has a very different cover design that makes it more like a hard shell model in some ways. Instead of using a large vinyl cover that goes over the entire tent and flaps in the wind as you're driving, the vinyl cover is basically a small "skirt" that only covers the sides of the tent when it's folded up. It remains attached when the tent is deployed, and you simply open the center and fold it up and out of the way. No messing with wonky zippers that go all the way around the tent, which is exactly why we purchased this model (those zippers are a pain!). When closed, the top of the tent is actually a hard metal surface with rails and adjustable extruded crossbars (like "80/20" rails). This allows you to mount bicycles, kayaks, or other items to the top of the tent when it's closed, instead of having that space be wasted like a traditional soft shell tent. Apart from the major design difference, there are a few other differences (this is straight from CVT's FAQ on their website):

The Hybrid series tents have 360 gram poly-ripstop canvas and will come with a USB powered
LED light strip, 3” memory foam mattress, black telescoping ladder (that will have to be removed and stored in the vehicle), diamond plated top with two crossbars, and a bungee/buckle skirt cover. Here are a few helpful links. The first link is a setup and breakdown video. The second link is a full installation video for the Hybrid series: https://youtu.be/TSKDMc4Okwg

The Pioneer series tents have 280 gram poly-ripstop canvas and will not include an LED light
strip. It will come with a 3” regular foam pad, silver telescoping ladder (that stays on the tent at all times), and a traditional PVC cover with a zipper at the bottom to close/open the cover. Here is a link to a Pioneer installation video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtCCZ38oFCw
Keep in mind that we have recently upgraded all tents to come with a telescoping ladder, unlike the old sliding ladder in the video.

This is the Mt. Rainier size, so it's marketed as a "3+ person" tent. It is just about 6 feet long when closed, and is the size of a California King mattress when opened. I believe the weight is about 175 pounds, but I can't find the specifications now that it's not on CVT's site at the moment.

My wife and I and our 10 year old son all fit very comfortably inside, and there's easily room for another small child or a medium sized dog (I am 6 feet tall and 300 lbs., and our son is 4 foot 10 inches and about 90 pounds, and my wife is a very average sized woman ;)). The tent fabric is Gray in color, while the rain fly and other accents are black. It comes with everything supplied from CVT, including the Annex Room (which was never even installed or used), spring rods, ladder and ladder storage bag, USB powered light (inside the tent), shoe bags, installation hardware, etc. If you watch the videos in the links above, you can get a good idea of how this tent works and what it comes with. We also purchased the set of sheets from CVT that are designed specifically for this tent, and I'll throw those in, too.

**SOLD** I also have an un-used matching CVT Hybrid awning, in the 79" size. This was purchased at the same time, and was mounted to the truck for the same amount of time as the tent. It has never been opened or used. The outside of the cover/bag has some very light scuffs from the trip we took (see photo), but it is in otherwise new condition. The Hybrid awning also appears to be missing from the CVT website, but the good news is that it's much more similar to the Pioneer series than the tents are. Here are the differences, per CVT's website:

The Pioneer will have silver poles and framing where the Hybrid will have black poles and framing. The canvas colors are also offered in different colors. They will both come with an LED
light, the Pioneer is powered by a 12V cigarette lighter plug in, the Hybrid is powered by a USB
    cord.

I looked into shipping the awning for a different member a little while back, and it was well over $100 for a closer trip. It was more cost effective for him to just order a new one from CVT, as it ships for just $50.

That said, I have just updated the original post. The awning was sold yesterday, and the tent is pending sale to someone today. I'll update one more time if/when the sale goes through.
