Hi all, new to the taco scene here. Just picked up a 2021 TRD OR not long ago.

Looking to get a soft tonneau cover and was curious to hear people's recommendations from this forum.

I was interested in the OEM soft cover, but also liked this:
What do you guys think? Any insight would be great.

I have a Bak Revolver from my taco if interested.
I also recommend it and would still have it, had I not traded my taco.

i have the oem, no complaints. it gets the job done at least where i am at (south texas). it started to fade a little after 3 years of use but nothing too crazy. seals are fine, keeps most water out. i like it so far and i do not regret buying. Now having just seen the video on the bakflip i gotta say, feature wise it blows the OEM out of the water, i would love to be able to use the full length of the bed.

Personally I prefer roll-up ones, e.g. Access or Truxedo. That way you get the full bed easily when you need it.

I just installed the undercover ultra flex on my DCLB. Install was straight forward (did it by myself), design is nice for a trifold that lets you have access to the full bed.

I have a $185 Amazon "tyger" tonneau rollup cover, and it has held up well for the 2 years I have owned the truck. Not worried about it being cut, and if it does.. its only $185... I like to have access to my bed items, I just want them "out of view"

I have the Truxedo LoPro. I have been very impressed with this unit, and it comes with a life time warranty

If your interested in a like-new BAK revolver, give me a shout. I traded the Taco and it doesn’t fit the Tundra.

Don't buy the TYGER roll up on Amazon. Spend the extra money and get a Truxedo or similar. The back of my Tyger doesn't snap down over the tailgate anymore. If you go with the roll up option.

I had Extang for many years but I had a LoPro on my old truck and it was awesome. Installation was way easier, low profile, and didn't flap since it has automatic tensioner. Lifetime warranty. It let in a little water due to how the rails are mounted but I could easily overlook that. My new one had a factory on it and I like it too. You can use the full bed if you need to. One bolt and it pops off.

Just bought an Extang Xceed. Same feature as Bakflip MX4 as far as being able to use the whole bed when locked up against back window but looks like a solid 1 piece cover when closed, sits flush with no seams...

I have a Fold A Cover on my 19 TRDOR and love it. I bought it for the separate front panel opening and the striker lock system it uses.
