Softtopper. Got tan cause it was used and the best deal I could ask for. Love it though. Truck has seem a bit of mods since then. This is just the last pic i took after camping season, it comes off most of the summer months cause the is no need for it.

    Nothing yet...
I just snagged a new/open box bestop soft topper off of CL for $300. Can't wait to install it... but do you all leave them on or take them off when not needed? Wondering about the life of the canvas...

I take mine off during the winter, didn't think the material would hold up great against the elements, and its hard to take on and off in the winter.

    Hello Everyone!

Thanks for a great thread with everyone's input.

Wanted to see if anyone knows how the bestop or softopper holds up in the heat? I live in Vegas and it can get up to 115 at it's hottest. As well as possibly alkaline material. I would plan to bring this to Burning Man and it will be faced with some extreme alkaline dust.

I have a cracked Leer hard shell. The crack causes one of the glass latches to miss it's housing and won't secure all the way.

So I'm debating whether 1) it's worth having a body shop repair the hardshell or 2) buy a tri-fold tonneau cover for daily use, as well as a soft topper (whichever make/model i decide) to put on for camping trips.

I've had the supertop for a few years now. Im wondering if anyone came up with a way to transport the windows with you while you have the topper down. Also, any canvas cover for the topper when it's folded down? I'm thinking a cover like they have for boat canopies.
