SoCal Tacoma salvage yards/Parts source?

Posted a WTB in the market place, but not sure many look at that board over very often.
There has to be some good salvage yards in the SoCal area considering all the Tacomas I see on the road. Anyone have a tip for a source near the Ventura / Van Nuys areas?

 

Most of the good ones are in the Sacramento area

There’s a few in Burbank I believe the one salvage yard I’ve used is called Toyota world

I wouldn’t say these places are cheap tho

 

@3rYODA Thank you so much. Where is there a good parts store to “possibly” buy various parts such as: alternator, fuel pump , shocks , struts, sway bar, bushings the list goes on. No off road at all. My truck is a 4x4 though.

 

@george101 I’d buy a new alternator... you don’t want to buy a used one and have it go out, same thing goes for the fuel pump BUY NEW!

I always buy my shocks and struts 2nd hand from here, you get a lot better price and normally get a little lift, 2016-2018 tacoma stock suspension will also work on your truck

Thank you and I should have clarified. Absolutely everything new! Where do go for all those parts? I’m thinking of definitely buying the shocks, struts and UCAs tomorrow or Monday.? where do I go? Just in case my truck gets taken apart Tues/Wed I’ll have to take the parts in. Omg thank you!!! Georgia ( I’m in SCV, but work out in the field.)

I buy off fellow members in the for sale thread, there’s a lot better suspension out there for much cheaper than what your paying for new

I don’t know where the best places to buy new UCA’s are I’d look through the vendors and do your research
