So What Air Filter Fits the 2016 - 2017 Tacoma with 3.5 Liter V6 ?

I have been searching around this site and the site of Fram, Purolator, etc. and cannot find a regular, paper type air filter for the 3rd gen V6

Does anyone know if there is a matching air filter for a different model truck or car?

2nd gen tacomas will not work, as you stated the intake box is different. The tundra 5.7 and 3rd gen air filters are the same part #.

 

I am getting numerous reports that the 2014-2015 Tundra 5.7L air filter works. I will be buying one from Pep Boys after work

 

Purolator 58172 but it is not in production.

Toyota looks to be the only source for a paper air filter.

How much will it cost?

 

Get the k and n its about 40 50 bucks and the keep the old one for cleaning time

 

K&N filters don't work well. I drive the truck off road in lots of dust

 

Ok then get the toyotas stock

You'll pay that in gas every week to drive your Tacoma but can't spend that on a air filter that will last a few months or longer and is the lungs of your motor?

 

Afe pro dry. I've been running one since 50 miles. Truck sees all kind of dust but the filter works great.

 

He might have an aneurysm when he find out the retail is $88 on that filter

 

are those washable?

 

I believe so. But you don't oil them

 

I had the AFE Magnum Pro filter (part #30-10247) ordered and delivered before I even had my truck... Drove it home 10 miles and popped it in. Was $67 on Amazon.
