Ha I just edited my latest comment to include them. Great jacks, and they're popular in european sportscar circles because they can actually reach our center jack points without having the car on ramps first.

You can buy them from Pelican Parts.

I bought it in 2001 to reach the rear center lift point on my Honda S2000. It was the only game in town.

Probably wasn't more than $200 back then. Lol

The DK20 would be a great unit for working on trucks and regular passenger cars.

    Ahh I'm jealous!

I want one, but I can't make the price work with my budget. I've been using an HF Daytona Long Reach for a while now. It's a great jack, but even it doesn't reach the front lift point on my 135. I need to drive that car onto ramps to get the jack fully under it. Even then, the handle on mine will slap my bumper if I don't pay attention.

You know you're in for a fun time lifting a car when this is the jack pictured in the owners manual. IDK what it is, but I assume it's AC Hydraulic.

Go on marketplace and find an older walker jack. Even 20 years old will be better than anything made today.

ah, i gotta stop browsing the forum after a couple whiskeys =D

about the caliper hanging though, always thought that was nonsense. think about the pressure that brake line is under when you uh.. actually hit the brakes. its fine. so just hanging there under its own weight is somehow different? what nonsense. i see no physical reason whatsoever a caliper cannot hang on the brake line under its own weight until i'm dead and buried.

that said, do i tape/hang up calipers? usually do, yeah.. =P
