Just figured I’d do a quick little write up for a weekend mod I just did.

Been brainstorming a way i would be able to hang my towel/wetsuits/ surf shorts inside my Snugtop without having to do any sort of additional drilling into the top itself.

Figured id find some sort of adjustable “ratchet strap” type of mechanism that had a carabiner clip end so it’s easily removable. I found these off Amazon for a decent price (and it came with 8 individual systems)

I then was on the hunt for D clips that were black to blend in with the carpeted interior of my snugtop, but that were also compatible with installing using the existing window screws system. (They came with 30 but I figured I could always use the extras for other projects.)

I then used any sort of flat prying object (in my case a clamp I had)

To pry off the black button covers that hide the Phillips screw.

remove the screw from your camper along with the washer to allow the D clip to sit flush against your camper D6636081-446E-4F54-8D38-5CA0C77B5FD5.jpg

I simply visualized where I thought would be useful to have a hanging line and removed the screws to install the d clips. D7219224-F1C3-4412-8C2C-D74421EF6561.jpg

I then clipped on the ratchet system to each d clip, pulled to tighten, and used the smallest black zipties I had to neatly organize the extra slack. 7DD9B5F5-0DFB-440D-A188-7E727FCBE241.jpg

I then threw on all my wetsuits, board shorts, and towels along with my bucket full of extra fins, leash, sunscreen and my hose for my camper mounted waterport.
