How’s everyone doing? I recently swapped camper shells with a local buddy because I had a MGM Grey shell on a black Tacoma and my buddy had a Black shell on a MGM Grey Tacoma. However, I noticed my old shell that I traded away had the cool SnugTop badges on the side corners of the shell, as well as the back glass. I attached some photos of my truck, and the logos/badges I’m looking for and I’m wondering if anyone knows where I can obtain these badges? Any information is appreciated.

In addition, I am also looking for an aftermarket lock and key since my ProLock went bad and it’s about $90 replacement. I’ve seen several aftermarket t style handles/locks for around $20, but I’m wondering if anyone has used a man aftermarket lock for the SnugTop Super Sport.

I also would be interested to know if anyone has figured out a solution for the Snugtop lock. I live in Ohio and no one around here does snugtop. Mine has the pro lock which I absolutely hate with a passion. If jiggled enough by hand it will slip to the unlocked position which makes having a key pointless.

I can’t believe I didn’t think of this. ‍♂️ I’ve been trying to contact SnugTop directly with very little results.

I’ve attempted fixing it several times. The entire mechanism needs to be replaced. That just replaces the twist lock portion from what I can see. The actual slide on the inside of the shell is bad and can slide way to easy. Making it very easy to unlock by jiggling the twist pro lock. Researching these pro locks indicates it’s a fairly common issue, and the only fix that I’ve seen is to have the entire mechanism replaced.

There’s this website that lets you buy the entire mechanism or just the parts you need. I had a similar problem at one point and it’s cause the white lock washer fell off, and was causing the right side of the back glass to not latch and just flap with the wind.
