Sooooooo, this just happened after i torqued the front lug nuts of my truck at night because i had nothing else to do. . . . . how do i fix this now? I was thinking of replacing the lug nut stud, but how would i get the wheel off with the lug actually being stuck ._.?

Photo of remnants of lug nut stuck flushed with the wheel stud

Is that a wheel stud ? If so is it the rear drum or front hub. You should be able to pound it out with a hammer and punch it will just be splined in. Go get your torque wrench calibrated. And post up better pics those aren't that good

Yea, I'm confused about what's going on. If the stud broke, your going to have to remove the wheel and hub assembly so that the axle flange is exposed. The as Nick suggested, you beat the old stud out, pound a new one in.

Alright let me add more info to this thread.
    1. The wheel stud is alright the actual photo is referring to the actual lug nut being twisted off.
    2. Front Hub is the locataion of the broken lug nut
    3. Torque wrench is new and i will be sure to get it calibrated for safety purposes.
    4. Roger on the photos ill be sure to try my best on better photos and labeling them for less confusion

So the stud is ok, but there is a remnant of the lug nut left on the stud?
And it broke off while your were bearing down on the nut tightening it?

If that's the case, they have nut splitters or cut thru the remaining nut with a Drexel being sure not to get into the wheel stud.

    My twisted broken lug
Yes sir exactly as you stated!
I was reading up on other post and only saw things about actually replacing the lug nut stud only.
Couldnt find much about getting rid of a remnant of the lug nut left on the stud.

Another thing is that the remnant of the lug nut is flush with the wheel. If that is the case i am guessing i would have to go with the "Dremel" rather then the "Nut Splitter"?

I don't know if a nut splitter will open up far enough. Most auto parts stores have them or hardware stores. Take a lug nut with you to see if it fits.
If you have a way of making 2 seperate cuts on what's left of the lug nut 180 degrees apart, (small grinder or dremel) that will help out alot. However the lug nuts are pretty thick so you might just see if you can borrow a dremel and some small cutting wheels.

I think I get the 1st pic now. Man, I don't know if you can even get a dremel in there.

I would just run it to a tire and wheel shop.
