Anyone here have a smartphone that charges on the iQi charge pad and connects fully to the Entune system? My Razr MAXX certainly doesn't do either and I'm looking to replace it with a phone that will provide full integration to my truck. TIA!

I just got an iPhone 8, and today was the first time I tried it out. As soon as I got it paired to the truck it worked, getting in and out with four stops it linked seamlessly to the truck no issues. As far as the Qi charging........it worked but was not charging about a 1/3 of the time. I attributed that to the case, I wasn’t curious enough to try it without the case.

My Samsung Note 8 works great with entune and the wireless charging. I must point out, the charging times with the trucks Qi pad is slow but serves it's purpose.

Don't have wireless charging, so don't know what I'm missing.

Is this feature so earth shattering that getting a different phone does is high on the list?

Not being sarcastic, just want to know.

I spent close to $400 for this phone, I just can't see running out and dropping a wad for a phone that plays with truck charging.

My iPhone 7 with iOS 11 works fine with entune, no wireless charging though.

My Razr Maxx is pretty well trash. I've had it since they were launched in 2013 - I am due for a new one. Since I'm getting a new one anyway, why not get one that functions with my vehicle?

As mentioned above my S7 Edge works fine with both connecting and charging. Charging is slow though but it does work.

My Samsung Galaxy s7 has never had a single problem connecting to the truck. When I turn the truck on, it's probably not a solid five full seconds before I'm available to use it through the headunit. It does charge fine, but it's a really low power charger so it is a bit slow.

My Samsung S7 works great with both. If I were about to get a new phone I'd get a Pixel XL 2 or S8. I'm probably gonna get an S9 early next year though.

Samsung S6. Qi charger works decent if you keep it to the back corner closest the passenger. It is a bit slow and creates heat...but this phone is also not known for efficiency.

Connectivity wise, it always works with Bluetooth streaming. Pandora is a bit finicky, but I am nearly positive it is Pandora. IheartRadio works great.

That's weird how it does that. Mine works best in the front driver side corner. I don't really understand induction charging lol. I'm hoping when the s9 comes out, it'll work just as well as my s7 does now.

There is a coiled conductor embedded in the charger tray. It must be aligned with a similar coil in the back of the phone. It just happens that the coil in the tray is towards the driver.

I bought a Samsung S8. It charges very fast, not much heating. It connects to the Entune system great, and al works with it. Pandora gives a "Insufficient connectivity" error occasionally, but a reboot of the phone fixes that (seems kind of weak that it would do that, though).
