I've narrowed down my choice to these two. Does anyone have the dimensions on these such as frame to outside edge, etc? It appears the Caliraised sit a little closer to the body of the truck, possibly due to the extra 5 degrees of angle, but it's hard to tell without knowing dimensions. I'm leaning towards the Caliraised because I want a "high and tight" fitment, but the RCIs are also pretty similar and have a great reputation. If anyone has side by side comparisons of these two that would be great. It seems petty, but I want to make sure I get what I like for $1k.

I’ve dealt with Cali raised in the past and their customer services is not on par.

A slider should at minimum be:

    -significant frame coverage
    -fill plate
    -kickout
    -angled

to my knowledge RCI slider is the best of that

the only one that may be above that is the new JDfab

Thanks, I've seen those too. Based on style, lead times, and my needs, I'm pretty much sold on either the RCI or Caliraised. Rocky Road and RSG looks good too but I've seen mixed reviews on them. I'm also trying to avoid 4-5 month lead times.

RCI has scratch and dent sales.

I’d see if there’s a way to check who has what in stock when and buy then. Or used.

when I bought my sliders around $300 (used) wasn’t much of a lead time, just drove to pick them up.

if you do that running no step bars in the meantime is better than step bars that reduce clearance and damage the truck.

I appreciate the heads up. I don't mind paying the extra money for something as long as it's quality and what I want.

I have the RCI bolt-on sliders on my 2013 double cab. They are of high quality. I would buy them again. Don't be dumb like me and get them raw and then spend the same $ as powercoating buying primer and spray paint. I had to add two extra bolts per slider as noted in the circled portion of the installation directions below. If I did not add these bolts the slider would flex and touch the rocker panel when I lifted from it. It works, but barely, I can just slide a sheet of paper between the slider and the rocker panel. Feel free to ask me more questions.

Ok will do. I think it's actually cheaper with the First Responders discount through IDme so I might wait until this one expires. I'm definitely leaning towards this one due to the lowest and toughest profile.

Do you have measurements from where the slider meets the frame to the outside edge of the slider including it's widest point at the kickout? I don't want the kickout to stick out past the tire.

Get whatever you want but keep in mind kickout past the tire means multiple benefits.

-room for beefier wider axle or spacers down the road required with longer shocks, both matching track width of front if ever adding longer travel front

-impact hits that part of the slider such as another vehicle hitting you, or pivoting around a rock or tree off road

    -additional step area

    -not really any downside

-still doesn’t protrude that much if it’s angled 15-20deg slider

    -looks good

given the seriousness of the mod; it can be expensive, heavy, take time to install - you probably want to do it right the first time regarding research and deciding “measure twice cut once”

Thanks for reaching out. I do not have the exact specs, to be honest. I have attached a picture for you to look over on our trail edition slider. You can build your slider here and it is true to the specs to give you a visual idea. Also I would check the IDme I think we only offer 10% where this sale is 15% so this would be the better deal to do it now and the trail options are in stock!
