Back in the day Slick Rock Trail, off Hwy 4 in Norcal, was a middle of the road difficulty. Something like 32's and a locker were the minimum.

I have a friend that did that trail in a Jeep, with a bunch of Jeeps and says the end of the trail is now impassible by IFS. Apparently there was a land grab by someone and the close off the end of the trail. The new trail takes you through a rock garden that is worse the anything on the Rubicon.

I'm looking to you Tacoma (smarter) people to tell me the truth.

It's been my experience that people with jeeps tend to think that no other vehicle can accomplish what they just did.

Back in the day my brother did the 'Con with IFS and 32's on his 86 4Runner.

Been doing some research on this trail myself. Definitely doable in an IFS truck but likely a bit challenging. A winch or tow strap with another truck will likely be required.
