I’ve been looking for some sort of sleeping mat to put in the back of my truck haven’t had much luck everything is $300+, anyone familiar with good options preferably not an air mattress or self inflating pad because they always end up getting holes in them? Thanks

If you build a platform level with the wheel wells, a double/full mattress fits perfectly. Opens up a lot of options.

I built a 30-inch wide platform that works real good for me. The width is perfect for a sleeping bag. I use a 2 inch thick foam pad from Teton sports. I got a larger size than I cut it down to fit. On top of that I have this memory foam pad
It fits perfect. I used this new set up a couple of weeks ago and I like it.

We love ours as well. I'm a huge fan of this product - we're actually comfortable when camping now!

Exped on the bed floor FTMFW. I tried a cot with a thermarest and it was like a torture chamber.

This just fits lengthwise, and is as comfortable as my mattress at home! Amazon offers a cover I highly recommend as well.

Roll-a-Cot FTW! I cut about 2" off the legs of mine for more headspace.

With Ben Davis' Bambeds platform, your choice to go with the full platform or Solo platform. I ordered the full-width platform and bed sliders, then trimmed to fit with the All-Pro bed stiffeners. Ben introduced the Solo platform (half-width) shortly after my first order. (My second was for the steering wheel work desk.) Ben linked to the Luno mattress, before Luno added his link to their site.

I did that too. Still a torture device. But I'm high mileage.

The roll-a-cot is a torture device, or sleeping on it in a truck bed is?

It is for sure cramped when not sleeping or trying to change, but I find the roll-a-cot very comfortable. Let's you get away with a very basic camp mat.
