Anyone spent nights in the cab? Have a 2021 with double access cab and scheming on how to convert back seat when folded down into a sleeping area. Am 5'9 so feasible but wondering if anyone has any advice/set up tips.

People remove the back seats and build platforms for dogs.

Look for some of those. Some foam padding and a nice sleeping bag should work fine there.

seriously though... for in the cab...... someone on here built a wire shelf platform and slept at an angle, crossing the console and using the front passenger area as well as the rear driver-side

The seats recline a lot. You can definitely sleep in the passenger seat pushed back, and seatback dropped down.

What's a double access cab? I've slept in the passenger seat of my access cab, it's not particularity comfortable but it's doable if you push it back and recline it as much as possible. I'm 5' 10" and there's no way I'm sleeping behind the seats; I've never climbed around in the back of a double cab to know if I'd fit.

Another option if you are traveling alone is to remove the passenger seat and build a platform there. I was friends with a couple of people who used to do it with their CJ-7s (river rats and dirtbag climbers) and I've seen a couple of people with various Wranglers do it.
