So I have a 1st gen with the 6 spoke (3 sets of 2) 15" rims, and I really like the look of them, but I wanted to go a little bigger and a little skinnier than my current Wrangler 31/10.5r15s.

I'm pretty much looking for an equivalent width to 255's that are also 32-33" tall. (What would be a 255/85r16 on a 16" rim)

    Any suggestions?

I have 33x10.5r15's BFG Mud Terrains. Very happy with them.

Don't suppose you have any pictures? Are they pretty heavy tires?

That seems to be about your only option size wise w/ a 15 inch rim.

Too bad no one makes 255/85r15 or 32x10.5 to give you more options.

Another vote for 33x10.5s. Weight wise, if you compare apples to apples, say a 31x10.5-15 BFG KM2 Mud to a 33x10.5-15 BFG KM2 Mud, the 33 is 4 lbs heavier.

Unfortunately, the choices for narrow 32s or 33s on 15" wheels is limited. As for how they look on a 1st gen, here are a few pics of mine.

90YotaPU, nice truck, I like the looks of those, I like the bFG KMs but I'm concerned how a mud terrain would ride on the street

Thanks! They're definitely noisier on the road than an all terrain. For me, the trucks not my daily driver so the noise is fun. If it's a daily driver, I would consider the BFG All Terrains.

Wow thanks everyone, I was thinking maybe I wanted skinnier than a 10.5, but now that I look at it I really like the look of them.

How bad of a hit on gas milage did you see upgrading to that big of tire? Right now my truck (manual) sits at about 2500 rpm at 65 and I was thinking this might help bring it down a little and maybe even increase highway MPGs, is that possible?
