hey guys. Haven’t seen any post about my conundrum, so hereitgoes. I’m currently having the pleasure of a 18 dcsbor drive me to the mountains of New England (most weekends). I like to ski A LOT. As of now I throw everyone’s skis in the bed of the truck, that requires, moving work equipment around and is just a hassle with all the bags and what not. So I’ve thought of getting a ski rack.. not that easy. There’s just so many options and routes to go and I want to hear from some people before I pull the trigger. For example and what ever else you guys do...

toyota factory roof rack + Thule ski rack

Just the Toyota factory roof rack and find a way to secure the skis to that ie bungee cords...

Or get an aftermarket roof rack and secure skis to that....

    Thanks

If you have the factory cross bars just get a ski rack. Easy. I like the Yakima FatCat. I'm going to get bars on my bed then attach my roofbox as I much prefer to transport skis in a box vs an exposed rack.
