    Hey TW so I got a 2017 Tacoma and I was at work (I'm a carpenter) and while sitting to close early I decided to make a bench. What y'all thing? Lol (couldn't finish Harvey decided to make it rain a bit earlier)IMG_0998.jpg IMG_0996.jpg

    Especially the way the side portions kind of lock into the edge there.

    Thinking about it, that is a very low bench. For me being 6'2" it wouldn't be very comfortable.

    Cool. Maybe seal it add some indoor/outdoor carpet. Could buy some boat seats and install a couple on top of the wood for more ass padding.

    Yea, but the level of nanny-ism has stepped up several notches since then.

    I'm thinking a crash helmet and fire suit would be required too. And probably a 5 point harness instead of a seat belt.

    Pretty much for drive-ins. The bed isn't that comfy dor two movies sits. I live around a lot of drive ins

    I'm 5'6" but My brother is about 6' I had him sit on it before the rain he was comfortable I cut the back side to have an angle and not sit straight forward.

    Wouldn't all those things be more practical and comfortable in a regular folding chair (and the truck's actual seats for the drive in)?

    I mean, it looks well built, but I also don't see the point in it.

    Yeah I been looking at stuff to seal it up and protect the wood and make it more comfortable
