Hey guys im new to the forum. I had just bought a taco just had for a month. I just washed my car i had bought a chemical guys bundke pack. After the wash i used the silk and shine i thought it was meant as a wax fir the paint. I appplied it to the entire truck. Would this damage my paint? It is watwr based i hope it wont.

It wasn't hard to buff out? Not oily or streaky? Sometime I think chemical guys fill 3 or 4 different bottles with a chemical and soap a different label on each one and sell for various uses/prices. If I used any interior plastic/rubber dressing that I have on my exterior paint it would be very noticeable that something was amiss

    This.
Its not going to hurt your paint but I’d rewash the truck. If not your next wash will be hell because that junk will grab onto every bit of dirt, then your next wash will be swirltastic on your paint job.

It's called Silk Shine, not Silk and Shine. It's meant as dressing for vinyl, plastic, and rubber. It won't hurt your paint, but I would wash the truck again to get it off the paint.
