I saw a thread on here a few days ago about using silicone rings for the radio knobs. I did some searching and ordered these from Amazon. I wasn't sure which size to get, so I ordered two sets - size 14 and 15. Size 15 were too big and the 14's fit it perfectly. Let me know what you guys think. I'll leave a link to the exact ones I ordered below. My only complaint on these is when I press the knob to turn the radio off, it ring obviously sticks out a little but it doesn't fall off. I simply press on the ring around the edges to put it back in it's place. I have included a picture to show how much it sticks out (2nd pic). Not really an issue for me since I never turn my radio off. I decided to go with camo because I'm a former Jarhead and it plays a minor homage to that part of my life.

Sounds good! Not my idea however, I saw a thread a few days ago talking about these rings.

Looks good to me. I keep forcing myself to just use the steering wheel controls. But like this idea.

So which size did you order? I think I'll order some. The camo color is pretty cool too.

    There is a 13.5-14 and and a 14.5-15.

I'm sure Hondo knobs are great, but this is for those that have a smaller budget that would like to find a resolution to the slick knobs our trucks come with.

I too prefer using the steering wheel controls but I travel a lot and constantly search for radio stations so this helps with that.

Right on Thank You for the link. Just what I need. Already placed my order for the black. Will save the steering wheel controls from scuffing and wearing down to the plastic and taking the off the arrows, like my dmax did.

This plus the hondo knobs are a little to bulky looking for me. Defiantly built well but the silicone rings are dirt cheap and still keep the factory styling.

Awesome man! I'd love to see what those look like once you get them. Good point on wearing down the steering controls.

Hondo should fix that and it is pretty crappy the contact box can't be moved.
