Seeing some conflicting information in the sale threads.. does the AC have different mounting points than the DC if I want steps?

In other words, would DC Steps bolt onto an AC?

I have heard/read they are the same but can't confirm that fact, that's why I made the thread. ;) N-Fab's site, for example, lists only Double Cab fitment.
And yes, looking for bolt-on options.

Can anyone else chime in about how these bolt-on bars fit between AC and DC?

    The Toyota ones are different!
My dad gave my his double cab short bed running boards and only 2 out of the 3 mounting brackets lined up. I had to remove the plastic unbolt the mount and drill a new hole put the tighten the bolt and nut back in the new hole I drilled and put silicone just to make sure the cover wouldn't come off. They were also longer, but I liked it because I could stand on it to get into my tool box in my bed.

I'm not sure about the n-Fab steps though. They might of added extra brackets to fit all models.

Thanks JDawg, that’s what I suspected about the OEM steps. And since N-Fab doesn’t list Access Cab for their bars I guess they would have to be modified also, which I don’t really want to do.

In all fairness while it doesn't make sense to do, and I'm not defending them cause I'm selling a set, but Relentless Fab does list different bars for the 2nd and 3rd gen bed rack. I had the 3rd gen and they fit just fine on my 2nd gen.
