No issues so far. I kept the old ones just in case rust rears it’s ugly head but nothing yet. As far as scratching, no I didn’t have that either. I finger tightened them as much as I could then put a deep wall socket on and a few gentle turns of the socket wrench until really snug. I also accomplished this on my workbench flat on its side before I had the tires mounted on. Made it a lot easier as I didn’t want to mess with it while already mounted on the truck.
Sorry to hear about the troubles. Frustrating I imagine as well. Let me know if I can answer anymore questions for you. Take care. Hopefully you’ll get some resolution soon enough.

Thanks for your detailed explanations and patience with my many questions. This is exactly what TW should be about. I owe you a beer if you’re ever in San Diego! Many thanks!

Ahh yes San Diego. I miss that place so much. Was stationed down there 2004-2007. Never wanted to leave but the Navy had bigger plans for me obviously
Again no worries about the questions, I love this forum and answering question people may have. What it’s supposed to be all about. Take care :)

I actually didn’t have to use a heat gun, just cut on the fender liner a little bit. Now its golden, no rubbing at all

Nice! I actually thought about that. Just cut vertically where it’s rubbing? What did you use to cut it?

    Stock-ish
Figured I'd follow up on my 33x10.5x17 Kenda Klever Rt's if anyone is interested, they have been a great tire so far. At my 28psi street pressure, they measure out to 32.2" tall/11" wide on a 8.5 wide wheel. Pretty dang quite on the road, with the wind noise being louder than the tires. They handle wet roads super well, and are phenomenal in the snow in both feet of it, and ice/slush. They are an E load tire so they are on the heavier side, but I like the thick sidewalls in turn. Going to do some real wheeling on them this weekend, and going to Moab next month sowe will see how they do on rock. PSX_20210303_185443.jpg

Yeah man, just any pocket knife or any sharp knife would do the job. Start cutting small so you dont cut more than you need to

That's what I'm afraid of haha. Just so I'm clear (never done this) am I just cutting a slit in the fender wall so that it will sag in and not poke out? Or am I actually cutting a piece out of the fender wall? Thanks again!

Did you bend the brackets at all or just push it to the rear of the truck?
