    Thanks. I bought the trailer for moving from New Mexico to Florida. Most of the time I will just be hauling motorcycles or construction supplies.

    I've towed our Jayco x213 with one or two kayaks on the shell of my truck on several occasions...300 miles round trip. No noticeable difference with or without them.

    We towed our 179 across the country with our 3.4 4runner. It did it but it was not particularly enjoyable. I am glad we were able to use the 3.4 for that. If it could not do it we may have never found "the best way to travel". Nice looking truck.

    If it hasn't been answered yet, S mode isn't 'sport' or 'pseudo manual'. S mode simply sets the highest allowable gear. It'll still downshift as it sees necessary. It simply locks out the gears above your selected gear (which you can pick).
