    Thank you, it’s funny growing up and learning this parenting thing, I don’t think any fish I’ve ever caught has brought me the same excitement..

    Didn’t land that on the ugly stick I bought him awhile back though haha

    Been trying to figure out how that hook got in there, came up with two possibilities....

    1. Someone did it intentionally (I doubt it, but there's a rampant amount of weirdos out there)

    2. Since its a worm hook maybe the worm slid up the line when he/she made the cast ((which would put the hook below the bait)....fish hit worm, fisherperson set hook and hook ended up there.

    Thats all I can come up with.

    Or there is always the possibility that the fish swallowed the hook and then digested it, passing the eye until the barb got stuck o_O
