Great, the AT3s were good in the sand the maxx are great.....
Plus going to 285s I have more float, I think just my lugs are in the sand...
And tearing around the dunes was much smoother ride, the AT3 are much stiffer harder ride.
I ran the same 26 to 27 psi and I could go any where and venture into the slower parts of the dunes. Only had to back out 1 time when I was trying to see how slow I could go up the dune...
The maxx are stiff enough to drive like a fool but much better grip and more give.
The main advantage of the AT3 so far, is the sportier ride on road and better handling.

To get to the dunes is a 5 hour drive each way and they are a good hwy tire up to 75mph.
At 80 hitting a turn even my girl could feel them moving around, so now we have to slow down for turns....:D

Really like these tires but don't need an E rated tire for such a light truck.

I've got about 300 miles on mine and absolutely love them!! I'm wishing I had 4:56 gears... the 2.7 does ok but not looking forward to how it does with my 6x8 enclosed trailer with mower and goodies inside!!

You have 4.10 gear ratio... v6's are 3.73 and 4 bangers are 4.10

IMG_5449.jpg IMG_5445.jpg IMG_5446.jpg Just got these put on the other day. They feel great.

Now I'm either going to raise the truck up with 1/2" Toytec Spacer up front and a 1" block in the back or 5100's up front at .85 with a 1" block in the back.

Needs just a touch of lift and it will be sitting perfect.

Yes. Acetone washed the 8's off as they are Level 8 wheels. Ordered the TRD from @rrentrop and they look good. Will be adding a blue ring around the TRD soon but the post office lost the package.

Badass. I initially wanted to swap the TRD to blue on mine but the red has really grown on me

Thank you. I can take it or leave it. Love looking at pictures of it. Hate cleaning it. Wanted Radiant Red or Super White.

I love that new blazing blue pearl you have. much better than that gaudy speedway blue everyone hated and now loves lol
