One of the things I know I want to do is add more reverse light. I have a pair of the flush mount square ones that you normally see that I never put on my old truck. I just feel like they're too big, either they won't fit or they'll look really bad. Inspire me!

Check Diode Dynamics. They have some new bumper mount reverse lights.

    Thanks!

    Here's my thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/back-up-light-installation-link-and-bs-thread.569289/

I recently went to a version close to the @MESO TotalTail Stage 2 and do not have the flush mount hooked up. The Vleds throw a lot more light.

Still though, the flush mount did a much better job than the stock setup.

Got the Sylvania Zevo's, in fact the whole Tacoma is on Sylvania Zevo!, most of them are made in Germany or Italy, no china made LED's here...sorry no pictures !

Any issue with the updated lights washing out the rear camera view?

Can't really complain, they're bright and designed by an actual automotive bulb manufacturer.

I replaced my reverse light bulbs with Osram 615905-35w bulbs, they are 860 lumens and made a hell of a difference! Just another option.

I changed my reverse lights to led bulbs, then installed a wired switch to turn them on whenever I want to. Makes loading the bed at night super easy to see.

I looked at those and really liked them but they're so expensive. Nice to see what they look like though so thanks.

I installed these a couple of years ago. They are $35 Amazon specials. Sorry, I can't find the model now. They work well for backing up. My goal wasn't to throw light 200ft behind me, just to see better in my unlighted driveway and campsites. White balance is a little off in the backup camera, but I can still see anything I might bump into.
