What are the mounting options for a shovel and hoe in the bed. I have the factory tonneau cover so it needs to work with that. I don't want to just pitch it in the bed of the truck. I would like it to be secure and out of the way.

This is what I used before getting a bed mat. Some Hummer D rings and a zip tie:

The same thing can be done with baling wire.

Otherwise, I was graciously given a SB mat. I cut holes in the mat to access all the D rings.

Homemade quickfist brackets for the factory rails.
Materials are strut nuts and a piece of 1"x1/8" steel both from home Depot.

@kairo’s guest house having a water with @not_nick
    Under development
This is what I did also. Although I found some 6” brackets with a 1” bend at the hardware store and used those. Same idea though. Biggest thing is get the quickfist and then making brackets is pretty simple

Hi - Are you using the QF #10010? Is this the most common size?

If you go this route, make sure to never leave your hoe unattended, they can be stolen very easily if not secured to bed or bed rails.

If you can't figure out how to secure that hoe, I'll show you how to mount it...
