Well, in all honesty, it depends on the tires you plan on running. I just don't see any way around chopping the shit out of your cab to get decent tires installed. You know, of course, you won't be able to avoid regearing. Also, a cold air intake and exhaust reroute will be necessary to get the extra seat of the pants increase in horsepower, torque, and that growl you want. Don't forget to swap hoods so you have the hood scoop. Axle wrap is something you'll have to deal with now that you have the cold air intake producing all the extra ponys. Now that you've done all these upgrades, you'll have to start buying nothing but premium gasoline. The extra MPGs you get out of premium gas more than makes up for the extra cost. I think you're on your way to having an OK light trail buster, rock climber, mud bogger, mall crawler. Just don't try to haul a sheet of plywood.
