Short block VS Long block

    Performance- bored .20 over, Doug Thorely Headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, and K&N cold air intake. Exterior- Trail Gear Solid Axle Swap, ARB compressor, high pinion 4.88 with ARB locker, 4.88 TRD Locker in the rear. Interior- 2 10inch JL W1 subs, Alpine MRX-V70 amp, Alpine type R SPR 17C 6x6 speaker in the back, Focal 165 VR with crossover tweeter up front, and Weather Tech floor mats.
    Been looking for a toyota 3.4, ill come across one and it will say "long block" and the other will say "short block" whats the difference?

    So far south in Texas my feet are in salt water
    Vehicle:
    04 4X4 Tacoma SR5
    3 in Ultimate ToyTec, set @ 2.5 in. AAL PINCH Weld Mod ( beat the pinch weld over inside the fender) Painted the pinch weld on bottom of cab Black Hi Lift Knock off
    Short is just the block with pistons rings and crank.

    Long is all that and heads, every thing but the bolt on stuff like alt, AC and Power steering pump

    I believe a short block is just the block, crank, pistons, and connecting rods. While a long block comes with all that, plus heads, and camshafts.
