    Hello Everyone, :)

Considering a TDR DCSB truck. I have the TDR AC with a 6.2' box that when I get gravel or dirt the loader has a 5' bucket. That would be a problem getting loaded right? Does anyone use the 5' box for hauling gravel/dirt? If so how is it working out?

    Thanks for inputs.

The loader can come in at an angle and it’s usually fine. I usually tarp the bed when I haul a scoop of rock or dirt so it’s easier to clean up the tailgate gap later, and the tarp can hang over the corner a bit to help keep the fill going in. Sometimes a bit of dirt or a rock goes astray, but it’s worked for me.

I have a short bed and go get loads of mulch each year. It is not ideal but like the previous post they dump the bucket in from an angle and it works pretty good. I also tarp the bed to make cleaning up the truck easier when I am done. The leaf springs sag pretty good with a yard of wet mulch in the bed but the truck doesn't complain!

Thanks for the input, I too learned the hard way by not fully tarping the box/tailgate area. Sheesh more work than I thought to clean it all out again.
Probably stick with the AC/LB as the larger box is handy.
    Thanks again for the input.
