Always thought this Jake decoy looked a little too beefy and intimidating for a tom to beat on, so I put him on a diet.

He's supposed to look like a nerd that the bullies would like to pick on.

This is the weight watchers before shot.


And this is the new and improved version.

 

Couple of those new fancy cobras, though I think they changed the name to Viper. Too bad they couldn’t keep the nostalgic sound the older two blade versions had.

Makes me think about my poor wife! My oldest son was 8lb 8oz and my daughter was 9lb 10oz. Both natural births with a Midwife! With our youngest son we decided to have a hospital birth with epidural. He was 9lb 0oz.

 

That 2nd picture looks like me when I graduated high school and that 1st picture looks like all them other kids

 

There is an air shutter in the ash door, usually it is open enough to slip a dime through, really cold weather I open it so a nickel will fit.

This coal is very large and takes substantial heat to ignite.
Rice coal by comparison with light off using a blowtorch for a few seconds.

Using Pa Anthracite hard coal there is never any smoke. On damp humid days you might smell a faint sulphur smell outside shortly after filling the stove.

 

It has slowed itself down today since it was warm overnight. If the temperature drops rapidly it will pick up, if it rises rapidly you bake.

Cole was less than a year old, my marriage was in a strain, we stopped by the grocery store to get a few things. Wife was changing Cole in the front seat, she was standing beside the seat. He sprayed poop all over her. She got him cleaned off and a diaper on. Me being the gentleman that I am, said "you want me to go on in and get what we came to get?"........that did not help the strain at that time

 

I’ve got 13 pieces of miniature farm equipment in the case, needed something to make it an even number. Last night I had the idea to make a boom pole

 

Can’t decide if I’m happy or disappointed there is no snow in Connecticut. Only here a week.

 

I know I only do helicopters, but I highly doubt that flashing tape is an acceptable repair lol

 

Last plane I flew on had tape like that on the wing, the pilot was putting it on before we took off. We stopped in New York and changed planes. We went from Greensboro, N.C. to Boston for a day trip to look at a fire truck. After that flight I said no more

 

While one might call this "Macgyver", I call it "when you get the will, you get the way!

 

Another option would have been to send one of those pieces already in the case to me.

 

Maybe it's high-speed flashing tape?
