    ... several hours later ...

Don't the taillights look like a rocket exhaust :rocket::rocket:

Back at the garage, no problems.

Oddly good fuel economy for towing this much weight.

I got a new weather station on the prime day sale last week. The sensors got a pretty good range. I placed it about 70 yards from the house. Getting the sensor unit level was a nightmare, being the post I used was as twisted as a tornado.

    IMG_5748.jpg IMG_5751.jpg IMG_5754.jpg

Edit: I also chose that location, as I didn't want to create something else I had to mow around. So the power pole tiedown made a good option.

Thank you, I feel they are the hands down best looking wheel OEM or aftermarket.
But I might be biased too. :notsure:

Brand new take offs from Alan's Wheels, Traveler's Rest, SC - great price and carefully packed.
He is on e-pay & FBMP too.

352 with four barrel & dual exhaust.
    Rated 250 HP / 352 ft/lb torque
The 352 was a $56 option over the standard equipment 289.

The 352 also weighs about 650 pounds compared to the 454 pound 289. :benchpress:

I like to drive, it was a good day. :):):)

    KIMG4192.jpg

Yeah, I know the Plexiglas is dirty - I drive with the windows down most of the time.

The 88 miles was from the garage, back to the trailer rental yard and then home.

The trip was way up in New York by Sodus Bay -- 1/4 mile more and I would be in Lake Ontario.

Nice! I love the sound of 4 bbl secondaries kicking in. Nothing like it in modern day cars.

i had a ‘72 LTD back in high school. 351 but 2 bbl, IIRC. It had a power bench seat - like driving around on a living room sofa. Fun car, potential for mischief was high :anonymous:

What are your plans for it?

Good morning everyone :hattip: Happy Friday.

    Plans... :notsure:

Just a project cruiser really, it does run and drive -- that doesn't mean it is road trip ready though.

I have wanted a 66 LTD for a long time and been semi-serious browsing for about 2 years now.
