I was thinking automotive work like if you had a battery terminal off but needed a jumper off it for something.

 

I was thinking because of Rusty's older Ford vehicles, I know it was a little easier to crank the engine with some type of switch because the solenoid was up on a inner fender or firewall? So kind of leaning towards that.
Do we have phone a friend as a option?

Yikes! Shock option? Look like that be a immediate certainty without any electricity

TV and radio techs used these as a quick way to hook up an antenna to a set using what was called "twin lead" or "300 ohm" cable.

The two sides of the clamp are insulated from each other and clamp to the antenna terminals without needing to use a screwdriver. The antenna wires connect with either a 1/4" terminal or under the screw.

 

That was my first choice . I have seen them used Radio Tv repair and Gun Store . Going back a great many years

I'm old enough to remember at a drug store they used to have I think called Skaggs...anyways they had a machine inside that store used for testing tube, just a big board with various hole/hole patterns that the different tube plug into.

 

I’m still usin’ ‘em. At times I unhook during storms. Dollar value of gear far exceeds that ‘lil chore.

 

Good old Tube testing machines were common all over the place .

Got me thinking a female friend lived on a farm about a mile and a half from the local country store the type the owner lives there .

Good blizzard lots of blowing snow and drifts She decides she can not go any longer with a cigarette off she goes more or less dressed like a outing to the mall . She got out to the plowed road about half way there another neighbor took her the rest of the way to the store.

Her Husband and Kids enjoyed a quiet two days at home till they could no longer put off getting the driveway opened with a 4 wheel drive loader .

I am not sure if she was ever allowed back in the store.

 

I thought growing like a weed myself!
