Everyone has a different feeling for speakers I guess and most people don’t want to mix brands. As a musician I’ve gone back and forth with my set up after 2 exhaustive years I’ve found to my taste what worked best for my Tacoma
Front dash Audison Voce 3.5 inch
    Front Doors Audiofrog GS690
Front door tweeter in a custom panel JL Audio C7 tweeters.
    rear doors Voce 6.5 coaxials
Subs I went through dual 8 inch’s kenwoods
Tw3 10 JL by it ended with the Audison Prima 10 in h sub 2 ohm
All powered by the Jl Audio VXI 1000/5 and the Audison SR 4500
End result great SQand able to tweak to my favorite taste so if you want to mix and match I have nothing against it

I ended up leaving out Audiofrog GB 15 tweeters C7 6.5 midranges, morel titanium 3 way components 8 3/4 mid bass drivers
8 inch mid bass Morel (BMW sub) and even left the Audison 6.5 Voce woofer out for the 6x9 Audiofrog. Subjective perhaps but in the end just wanted to be happy.
So far I am or maybe I’ll change again next week!! lol

This is very intriguing, as I’ve been toying with the idea of that exact same pairing in the front of my truck. They seem to play well together?

I have the morel subs 8 inch they provide great bass with the right power amp
I have the Morel 83/4 mid bass took them out for the 6x9!audiofrogs cause I wanted a bit more midrange.
I took out the 8 inch bmw subs for JL audio c7s but didn’t had a good amp to run the c7s so I end up selling them Where are you located if you’re interested we can talk about them
I have them in the actual boxes
