sf bay area tacoma indy shop

can anyone recommend an independent toyota service shop that specializes in tacomas (4x4’s) in the immediate bay area? i would like all fluids changed. im too busy to be able to do it myself.

or perhaps the dealer is decent? what do you all recommend?

toyota dealer quoted me $1351 for all fluids minus the engine oil. is that a good deal?

by fluids i mean, ps, trans, front dif, rear dif, transfer case, brake fluid, coolant

 

You still haven’t localized your area yet. Where are you located in the Bay Area. There are nine counties here.

On the Peninsula there are quite a few reputable Toyota Certified Master Tech owned Independent Repair Shops.

Toy Auto Clinic - Brian is a good dude. Worked with him for a bit.

Waylon at The Toy Shop on Geary Blvd is also a pretty Rad dude.

The owner, Anson, did my clutch & carrier bearing replacement/transmission service, engine swap, and MAF sensor/smog check on my '99 4x4 5 speed, Xtra Cab truck. Saved my truck from going to the junkyard when my headgaskets on my truck went out last year. Anson is a former dealership mechanic who started his own auto repair business, is honest, friendly, and does great work. He uses OEM Toyota parts for your repairs. His shop is clean & organized. He also recently installed alignment equipment and does alignments now.
