    Quick question from a newbie.
I just installed a new Kicker Key amp along with Kicker Subaru Tweeters, Front door 47KSC6904 and Rear door 47KSC6504. The Speakers have what appear to be some type of capacitor or filter on them. I looked up the specs but there is no mention of what these are for.
Are these inline filters? right now i have the amp set to High pass filter OFF. Should I select to turn on? the options are 60,80, and 120Hz

I am not running in Biamp mode. Just the factory wiring on the speakers.

    Thanks

This is a capacitor, used a a crossover for the tweeter. Leave them as they are.

If you’re not doing a subwoofer, I’d leave the front crossover on the amp off and the rears to 80hz.

The key appears to only have an adjustment that effects both channels at once.

    Thank you again Destin_meeks.

Hey Man, any update with the Kicker Key Amp? How is the difference between stock? I replaced the tweeters with subaru tweeters, and door speakers kicker cs series.

I am thinking about getting the Kickey Key 200.4 but have seen mixed reviews.. Hows the sound?

It's way better than before, much clearer at low volumes and it's got some punch now. I replaced all the door speakers and the tweeters. I didn't separate the front tweeters from the door speakers. It wasn't cheap but quality audio costs money. You can spend alot more and yes it will sound better but for the cost I'm really happy with my new system. I play alot of music on my USB and it is clear and as loud as I want.
