I think it depends on the problem you are trying to solve. Also, seat problems can be highly unique to individuals, so what works for one person may do nothing for you (or even make things worse). That said, it seems to me that the Tacomas lack tall-guy ergonomics. If you have long legs, they can really help that issue out. My seat was REALLY uncomfortable after 20-30 minutes of driving. Front seat jackers pretty much solved the discomfort. But I'm 6'3".

I'm 6'5 and my son is 6'2 we both have them in our trucks and love them. Heading to my hunting camp in Northern Maine tomorrow. 4 hr drive will be very comfortable while enjoying a cigar. I suggest them but it's definitely a personal choice.

If you have power seats, why do you need seat jackers? Do they even work with power seats? I thought they for trucks without power seats.

In any case, sitting position is highly subjective. You can’t rely on someone else’s body.

Also I think it’s often better to adjust your body to your seat than the other way around. The human body is very adaptable.

Take the seat to an auto upholstery shop and have the seat base foam modified.

The Desert Does It seat jackers work with power seats.

They raise the front of the seat for better thigh support.

The only potential issue is if you add a thick seat cover (neoprene for example) and use the seat jackers, you could lose space between the steering wheel and thighs.

Yes, they work great with power seats. If you are not too tall, then power seats are good enough to get the needed thy support. If you are in the 6'2" and higher range, then the power seats are still not enough.

I like mine....Even my wife felt the seats were too low so I put a set on the passenger side. I bought some cheap ones off ebay.

I was skeptical because I didn’t have a lot of head room already. Found a used set made by dessert does it on the forum at a good price and said fuck it, worth a shot. Despite losing a bit of head room and having my thighs closer to the steering wheel it was worth it to me.
Now I need a steering wheel spacer and it’ll be about as comfortable as I can reasonably get it.
Every body is different, but if you are truly uncomfortable it’s worth trying IMO.
If you’re just curious about wether or not things could be better, wait for a good price on the DDIs. Some people have been very happy with the cheaper knockoffs out there also

I dunno,, but at a mear $100 and what looks like a basic install; I don't think it's much of a risk.
Seems like everyone is different, therefore will have different opinions.

My 16 had manual seats and I had them, love them. My 23 has power seats and are different and I don't need them. YMMV
