I have the common tear on the driver side seat that's due to wear and tear. I'm looking to replace the seat fabric with this one I found on eBay:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/265240236070

Has anyone here tried these? How are they?

I saw a video on this type of cover:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFWcpxX4Lbg

It looks really good, but you have to make sure that you specify passenger or driver side (see 30:44 mark on the video)

I'm just curious if anybody on here has tried it

I have the one from ebay. Its not a 100% match. But it’s very close. Fitment was ok only issue i had was the front seat corners had to modify the plastic to fitCABE0AC4-1130-42DC-B476-D1FECDA10E8C.jpg

I may have to try this. My drivers side seat bottom has a big tear in it from the PO.

    Wow! That actually looks amazing!

Did you have to cut/trim the plastic to make it fit?

Yes only on the corners the stock seat doesn’t have the extra plastic. I just used a pair of side cutters to eliminate the corners and then it fit pretty nice. The pattern in the seat is slightly different and the shade is slightly darker. My wife couldn’t tell the difference when I showed her. It is definitely good quality material

I ordered the factory cover from a dealership selling online. Think it was $250. Not too hard to install. It was worth it to me to have OEM. Try and keep my stuff like new.

Not bad. If you are concerned about it not matching up exactly you can order an upper and lower section for both the driver and passenger seat for just under $532.00
Make your seats look new.

I've been trying to find the OEM one... do you have the part number by any chance?

That's actually not a bad idea at all

hmm how about steam cleaning. Do you think steam cleaning the old fabric will make it color match the new one?

    It wouldn't hurt to try.
Bissell Spot & Stain Remover is reported to work very well when cleaning fabric seats.

So do you just hog ring the plastic pieces to the seat foam instead of using the original metal inserts?
