Both my driver and passenger seat belts are torn in my 2004 Tacoma. I can't find any replacement seat belts online, but the dealership's and it's $272.57 each and theirs no way I'm spending that much on seat belts. Anyone know where I can get'em????

I paid about $140 per side from Camelback Toyota. BUT I have the normal pretensioner. In 2000-ish Toyota added the explosive pretensioner which is more expensive.

You could try a junkyard, early latches are different than later ones though

All depends what is your definition of "torn". If belt integrity is compromised ther is no fix other than replace them immediately. If belts are "shaggy" they are probably drivable but PITA to use and there is no fix other than replace. For dirty and swollen belts you may try one of the "restoration" services, it will buy you few more years of belt's life. But usually in belts that old the retracting mechanizm is usually worn too so still the best (but not cheap) option is get them replaced.

I have not found any alternative to oem parts. To save few bucks you can use places that offer the best discount over msrp like camelback toyota. All dealers that I visited in person didn't give any or very little discount (like 5%).

One note for old belts: when you replace such old belts it is worth to replace a buckle too. The lock inside the buckle is probably worn too.

For my 23 years old truck I bit the bullet and replaced both belts and buckles. Belts had hard time retracting and buckles had problems with locking and releasing. 400 dolars later all felt like a new truck.

I got mine from a junkyard. Found my exact truck model (pretty important) on car-parts.com and called the junkyard, they were able to ship me it. I think it was around $80 shipped, and included a gas pedal too.

I'm not the person your asking but I recently sent my frayed belt to safetyrestore.com and new belt looks the same color and design as old belt on passenger side.
